At RideshareRates, we understand that safety is a top concern for both rideshare drivers and passengers, especially in areas that are considered dangerous or potentially unsafe. That's why we are proud to introduce our Rideshare Protection Professionals (RPPs), a team of highly trained and experienced security personnel dedicated to securing the well-being of rideshare drivers and their passengers.

Our RPPs consist of off-duty, Veterans and retired police officers, security firm personnel, and executive protection agencies. With their extensive background in law enforcement and security, they bring a wealth of expertise to the table, ensuring your safety during rides in high-end vehicles.

When we talk about "dangerous" areas, we refer to those locations where drivers, particularly in luxury vehicles, often feel unsafe to pick up or drop off riders after dark or past midnight. Our RPPs provide a vital layer of protection and peace of mind in these areas. It's important to note that our focus is on securing the driver and the vehicle, rather than providing personal protection for passengers outside of the vehicle.

However, it's essential to understand the scope of our services. Our RPPs do not enter any establishments for any reason, nor do they enforce laws or engage in activities such as clearing traffic, running traffic lights, or wielding weapons unless absolutely necessary for self-defense.

When you choose to book a RPP for your ride, you can rest assured that our Rideshare Protection Professionals are solely dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of both the driver and yourself. The additional charge for a RPP officer is $350, which will be added to your trip rate.

Please note that if a RPP officer is unavailable for any reason, we will be unable to provide you with a ride. We prioritize the safety of our personnel, and their availability is subject to their individual schedules.
